Pickup Club Terms

Effective 18 August 2026. Last updated 18 August 2026.

These terms cover Pickup Club membership — the plans, what each one includes, the minimum commitment, how billing renews, and how to cancel. Joining the club means you accept them.

1. What the Pickup Club is

The Pickup Club is a subscription for one scheduled curbside pickup on a fixed cycle. You choose a plan and a pickup day when you join. We come back on that same day each cycle, take what you have left at the curb up to your plan’s load allowance, and text you a photo once it is done. You do not need to be home.

Membership is available inside our service area only: St. George, Ivins, Santa Clara, Washington, Hurricane, La Verkin, Toquerville and Springdale.

These terms sit alongside our general Terms of Service, which apply to club pickups in full. Where the two differ on a membership matter, these terms apply.

2. Plans, prices and load allowances

Three plans are available. Prices are in US dollars and do not include the surcharge items described in section 7.

  • Monthly — $89 per month. One pickup each month, up to a 1/8 load.
  • Quarterly — $119 per quarter. One pickup every three months, up to a 1/4 load.
  • Twice a year — $169 every six months. One pickup every six months, up to a 1/4 load.

Load allowances are measured by volume against our 7 × 14 dump trailer, which has 48-inch sides — the same way we price every other job. Anything over your allowance on the day is quoted at our normal rates and charged separately, and nothing extra is loaded until you have approved that number.

3. Your minimum commitment

Every plan carries a two-pickup minimum. It runs from the date of your first scheduled pickup, not from the date you sign up.

That means you stay a member until you have had two scheduled pickups. On the Monthly plan that is two months. On the Quarterly plan it is six months. On the Twice a Year plan it is twelve months.

4. Billing and automatic renewal

  • Your first payment is taken when your membership starts. After that you are billed at the start of each new term.
  • Membership renews automatically at the end of each term, at the plan price then in force, until you cancel.
  • We bill through Jobber Payments using the card you give us. Keeping a valid card on file is your responsibility.
  • If a payment fails we will try again and let you know. If it stays unpaid we may pause your pickups until it clears.
  • Payments already taken are not refundable except where section 8 or section 10 says otherwise, or where the law requires it.

5. Cancelling

  • After your second pickup you can cancel at any time, by email or by phone.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the term you have already paid for. You keep any pickups still remaining in that term.
  • If you cancel before your second pickup, your membership ends once that pickup has taken place rather than immediately, and the payments scheduled up to that point are still due.
  • We do not pro-rate part terms and we do not refund a term that has already started.
  • Unused pickups do not roll over to the next term and have no cash value.

6. Changing your plan or your pickup day

  • You can move to a different plan at a renewal. Tell us before the renewal date. Switching plans does not restart the two-pickup minimum.
  • You can change your pickup day by giving us reasonable notice. We will confirm the new day in writing.
  • If your day falls on a public holiday, or we cannot run because of weather or a vehicle problem, we will move that pickup to the next working day we can and tell you.

7. What we can and cannot take

The restrictions in our general Terms apply to club pickups in full. We cannot take hazardous material — paint, solvents, fuel, oil, propane and other pressurised tanks, chemicals, asbestos, medical or biohazardous waste, ammunition and explosives.

Surcharge items are not included in a club pickup. Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners, hot tubs, pianos, safes and tires carry an added fee, and heavy material such as concrete, tile, dirt, brick and roofing is priced by weight rather than volume. Mention these ahead of your pickup day and we will quote them up front.

8. Missed and skipped pickups

  • Leave your items at the curb the night before, or early on your scheduled day. We cannot collect what is not out.
  • If nothing is out when we arrive, that pickup counts as used. It does not roll over and it is not refunded.
  • If you know you will not need a pickup, tell us at least 48 hours ahead and we will skip it. A skipped pickup still counts as used for that term, but it saves us both a wasted trip.
  • If we miss a scheduled pickup for a reason of our own, we will collect as soon as we can, or credit that pickup to your next term if you would rather.

9. Price changes

We may change plan prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change takes effect, and it will only apply from your next renewal. If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel before that renewal.

10. Suspending or ending a membership from our side

We may pause or end a membership if payment stays unpaid, if the property is unsafe or cannot be accessed, if what is put out is consistently outside what we are able to take, or if our crew is treated abusively. Where we end a membership and you have not broken these terms, we will refund the unused part of the term you have paid for.

11. Everything else

Insurance, damage claims, liability limits, photographs of your property, what happens to items after collection, and governing law are all covered in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Both apply to club pickups in full.
